Nina Tatavitto is of italian decent but was born and raised in Switzerland. She speaks german, italian and basic english. After completing high school she began her apprenticeship in hairdressing at König. When she was only 21 she was appointed manager of the hair salon she was working at and was able to hold this position for some years. This experience encouraged her to open her own salon in the city of Zürich and has ran it now successfully for 9 years. Nina has had a lifelong interest in make-up artistry and she deci-
ded to pursue her dream in 2009. She trained first in Zurich at the Beauty & Style Academy, then in London at AOFM. Her career as a make-up artist and hair stylist has had a rapid rise in the field and she is in high demand. She has worked as a freelance artist for 7 years now. In this short time she has worked at Fashion Week in Berlin and Milan and since 2015 has been head of make-up at London Fashion Week. For several years Nina has worked with actors and models attending the Zürich Film Festival. The likes of Daniel Bühl, Mark Forster, Steven Gätjen and Iris Berben have been among the many names she has worked with. She has constant work with magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, L‘Officiel, Quality and many more. Her philosophy is: „Choose a profession you love and you do not need to work one day in your life“ (Sokrates)
